Missing the mundane...

Wandering round the garden late this afternoon in search of a blip I came across several examples of things we see every day and yet do not see their beauty. For a start there was some nice side lighting on one of my neighbour's trees (see extras). Then there were the collared doves rootling around beneath the bird feeder who I ignore most days in seeking more interesting bird life and yet their plumage is a wonderful array of greys, white and blacks with areas of iridescence. There was another massive one roosting on my neighbours TV aerial and after it flew off the aerial was vibrating for a good minute or so no doubt affecting their TV reception as well.(see extras)
