Anniversary of the battle of Waterloo.

On duty at the museum today. One of the committee puts up flags according to the occasion. Today's is the Union flag for Waterloo, 201 years ago.

Warfare, whether national or individual, seems never to go away. Baby boomers like me thought WW2 would put an end to hate, but we were wrong.  Recent events have left me in tears.
