Binge

Really went for the film festival today-after a very nice breakfast at Fruitmarket Gallery we saw (i) The Big Blue -1980s film about free diving (ii) Moon Dogs - coming of age road trip from Shetland to Glasgow (iii) My Feral Heart - loneliness, friendship, care, family and Downs Syndrome and finally (iv) Parched - women's stories from Gujarat

All good, very different, but interesting.

Punctuated the watching with nachos and chilli and a very fine date slice!

Very sad to see Welch's close today....it's an institution as a fresh fish shop and I'll miss it. Today was supposed to be its last day so I'd hoped for a photo of it with all the fish on the old marble slab at the window, but there was no sign of life when we passed on our way out this morning :(

p.s. Did take the u bend apart and pleased to say I found yesterday's lost earring!
