Tractor at Auchendrain

This morning I was in Lochgilphead for the annual Armed Forces Day event and my extra photo gives a glimpse of the parade. 

This afternoon I was at the open day for the Auchendrain Township Museum which I have blipped before.

There were some wonderful things to see including , as ever, the inspirational luadh singers  from  the Sgioba Luaidh Inbhirchluaidh (Inverclyde Waulking Group) and  a traditional travellers tent erected by Kathy McGuigan (ne Townsley) who has a huge  store of traditional knowledge of her travelling culture.

But this was the image of the day - sunshine, sunglasses and a tractor just like the one my late father in law in North Uist used to have on the croft.
