Bubbles

I had a fabulous day out in Stratford with my friends M & C. After the customary tea and cake to start off the day, we visited Shakespeare's birthplace, particularly enjoying the short play excerpts performed in the garden. We had a picnic lunch by the river, watching a bit of the regatta and watching the young lad playing making bubbles. Then we met our friend L, her husband and son to see A Midsummer Night's Dream.  It was brilliant, with a particular good performance by Lucy Ellinson as Puck.  C, M and I also walked up to the church and visited Shakespeare's grave, followed by a walk along the river and a bit more of the regatta. A fabulous day!
