Big Game Day

Mimi was playing for Scotland today she played two games, in her first she game she was utterly outstanding making a number of brilliant saves.  She was also run by one of the opposing forwards who made no attempt to play the puck and took Mimi right out of the play but true to form she just got up and got on with the game.  She continued to frustrate the opposition and finished the game with a shut out.  To get a shut out in any game is brilliant but with that Scotland Jersey on her back it was extra special.

In her second game she again played well frustrating the opposition for much of the game but she was eaten by a great strike that went across her body and high into the far corner of the net.  She was bitterly disappointed when she came off but her captain came across and stressed how well she had played and said she was unlucky to have been beaten by great strike.
