Kitchen flower

A fairly quiet day, a lesson in the morning, shopping and a bit of cooking for friends coming to dinner. An excellent evening!

This plant had just a few flowers on it till I asked my friend to look after it when we were in Geneva.  It is now laden with flowers!  Does anyone know what it is??
