hiraeth

Hiraeth is the Welsh word for homesickness and the longing for familiar things.
Today I missed a small family reunion back in Prestatyn, North Wales: this is the excellent picture sent to me by my brother to make me feel better but instead it seemed to trigger more hiraeth.
