Brantwood and Coniston Water

Facetimed with No 2 son early on.  He has been flying a few times as the weather has improved in NZ sufficiently.  He is slightly homesick but enjoying the experience nevertheless.  Continue to marvel at the fantastic technology we now have.

Today's weather was forecast to be the best of the weekend so we ventured up to Coniston Water and walked along the lake from Sunny Bank to the village itself.  This view looks across the lake towards Brantwood.

Lunch at the Bluebird Cafe and then back to the car via the Coniston launch.  Good to get out and the walk was a mood lifter.
