Back to the usual routine of Saturday prepping the Lodge ready for the next guests.  Opening the visitors book is always a little concerning but fortunately we get 99+% lovely comments and today was no exception.

Having finished the inside of the lodge we started to catch up with the garden as the grass hadn't been cut since before we went on Solace.   The guests arrived early while we were still there and unusually Clickychick had met them before.    When she had the shop she always left an open invitation to drop in and meet her, remarkably few did.  This couple had been one of those who took the trouble so she had quite a chat renewing old acquaintance.

In the evening we were invited out to dinner with Jane and Mark who we met through them needing accommodation for 3 weeks while their new house was being finished, and the Lodge was able to come to the rescue.

The result was a very pleasant evening leading to me not getting this blip posted on the day it was taken.  Knowing I would have little time I took shots of flowers at the Lodge and preferred this detail from the "Red Hot Pokers" which are just coming into flower.
