Ride
A busy old day – a trip to town in the morning, to see H, E and O perform in their drama class showcase, then to my sister's in the afternoon for another get-together with our New Zealand cousin, and finally a challenging but pretty magical hour and a half attempting to get some decent photographs of the Simmer Dim Ride, an annual event held at midsummer and ending with a midnight gallop along Spiggie beach. It was a beautiful night, but cloudy, which meant there wasn't really enough light, especially as my subjects were moving! A 300mm f/2.8 lens would have been REAL handy...
