Sunday safari

Up early to meeting Sandy, who has worked in Atholl Estates for over 59 years, and who was taking us round the estate in the landrover. We had a great time and saw loads of amazing birds and wildlife including a golden eagle, kestrel and hen harrier as well as stags and red deer. A really amazing experience and what Sandy does not know about this vast estate is not worth knowing.

Totally impressed with the estate and how it is managed for a sustainable future, they even have their own hydro electric schemes meaning no need for ugly wind turbines.
