Agitation!

The two adult Ringed Plovers were protecting their two balls of fluffy chicks. Wasn't fair to hang around, so snapped this quickly and left them. Then encountered a female Eider and ten ducklings, also very protective but on the water, as were the two adult and two young Shelduck. The salt marshes were pink with Sea Thrift.
