Olympic Archery.

Had to be up at 4am this morning to get to Lords Cricket Ground for the Olympic Archery at 9am. We saw the sun rise on the motorway at 5.35am. Team GB were the first to walk out to huge cheers. Simon Terry, Alan Wills and Larry Godfrey, who the photo is of, competed against Ukraine. Sadly they lost 212 - 223. Surprised by the number of people turning up late and missing them!!!! Also by the number of empty seats??? Beautiful day, great atmosphere. Of course I had a crowd round the scanner and had to have my bag searched, even after I told them it contained B's epipen. Hubby had his food items inspected,much to kids amusement, dangerous those angel slices are!
We spent a lovely afternoon at Regents Park, never been before, hadn't realised how big it is. Also had to take a photograph of the children by a red telephone box, they didn't know what it was!
