D of E (and Father's day)

I was up at 6:45am since Penny had to be off on her Duke of Edinburgh camping. She really wasn't too keen on going. 
I dropped her off at Sophie's house just before 8am. It was a really nice morning so I sat in the garden reading the paper. At lunchtime, Jack, Bibi, Ben and I sat in the garden for about an hour talking and when I went back into the house I realised I had burnt myself in the sun. 
As it was Father's day, I booked a table at the Tide End Cottage for 7pm and before we went out I went for a run. 
The weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow is horrible with heavy rain. Poor tiddles is not going to be very happy in her tent.
