Church Bells and Fields

My sister's birthday and Fathers Day today - so a doubly special day. However as I was in Hampshire I wasn't able to join them for tea and cake. Instead I spent a lovely sunny morning at the allotment. It is such a peaceful place. As I arrived the church bells rang in the distance - it all felt rather timeless. The allotment is at the end of a single track lane on the edge of the village. Just a few cottages lie next to the road - Duckmead Lane - and my plot looks out over fields to Selborne Hanger. This evening the rain has arrived and it is quite blustery.
