The heron and the red wing

As beautiful as the Great blue Heron can be they are a predator bird, normally they will sit lake side and hunt fish however the red wing blackbird was trying to force the heron to move as this bird will also hunt other birds and animals. This afternoon in the 34C heat  the heron sat on a water drain  and seemed to be unfazed by the actions of the red wing. This has been the closest I have been to the heron this season.
