Kinnoull Hill

Had planned on some shots through in Edinburgh today, but we woke up at 9.30 and there was no sign of life from the boys, so we left them sleeping, obviously knackered after camp and trying to stay up last night after the Olympics opening.

I thought the opening ceremony was great, Danny Boyle did a great job, but they need to stop rolling out Macca for events like this as his voice is past it and that last 5 minutes was pretty rank. Theres plenty other younger people who would have done a better job.

The last one finally got out of bed at 12.30 and #1 Son finally showered at 3.30, so today was turned into a lazy day for them. Pesky was going stir crazy so I headed off into Perth with her for a quick ice cream from Janettas new place in the town then headed up Kinnoull Hill for some shots of the rain clouds approaching.

Had a great time with Pesky up there taking shots and watching the Polish couples up there taking shots dressed in skimpy dresses and high heels, teetering right on the edge. I'd have sneeked a couple of shots, but would probably have got done for perving they were that scantily clad.

Dinner shortly, then i'll take them to see Dark Knight and Pesky & Mrs P can stay at home and watch chick flicks uninterrupted.
