Lake Pearson

A quick blip today, just loading before heading out for tea.

We decided very last minute to head up into the alps to Arthur's Pass Village. Just a bit of a road trip stopping at Lake Lyndon and Lake Pearson along the way. We were astounded at the low level of Lake Lyndon while Lake Pearson was fuller than the summer months just by a tad. This is A enjoying stretching her legs at Lake Pearson.

A cloudy, moody day, with light rain at the village. A little snow on the mountains but really they were quite boney.

I've not had time to look at my other shots and knew I wanted this shot for today's blip - it was tranquil even though cold.
