LUNCH!

I took Hubby back to the Bison ranch in Rožnov, Czech Republic for lunch today. It is his birthday next week but he starts working tomorrow (Monday) in Vienna. He stays there Monday to Thursday and looks like there will be work there for quite a while. He prefers working in Vienna on the one building site rather than driving around to several different sites locally - and it is worth more money. I will also have more time for me - and blip.
The bison were not wandering near the restaurant today so we had to stop by a field on the side of the road to photograph them. Most of them had calves which I didn't see at first as some were hidden in the long grass. They wandered off as I got closer and we could see quite a few calves. Hubby (a carnivore) is wont to shout out LUNCH when an edible one is nearby - mostly at ducks but often at 4 legged beasts.We did indeed lunch on part of one of these beasts. We learnt last time that the Chateaubriand needs to be ordered so as not to miss out on it. It was fabulous and there was more than enough juicy, tender meat to satisfy Hubby's craving.
