Le Beaujolais Nouveau 2008

I'm a member of the French club here at UDel. Every year as a tradition for our end of the semester party, we have a fête to celebrate the holidays and Beaujolais, the first French wine of the season.
I'm not a big drinker, but I have to admit that I enjoyed the wine. It is a different experience being around people who are drinking to enjoy themselves and have intelligent conversation, instead of getting so plastered that they can't remember a thing the next day.
I think it's something that should be encouraged more in American culture. If people were more relaxed about teens drinking alcohol instead of forbidding it completely, then maybe universities wouldn't have such big problems with teens binge drinking and getting alcohol poisoning.
