Foxglove
I woke up to rain and when we set off mid morning to go collect Luke's new car it was still raining. The garage apologised as usually they have the car under a car cover and then remove it in a tah -dah moment for the purchaser (despite it not being a new car) but they could not do that as it was so wet from standing outside in the rain. Nevertheless, Luke was so thrilled and excited to get this car that the rain and wet car could not dampen his enthusiasm.
We then went grocery shopping in his new car - for some reason he was quite happy to drive me around today! It was raining and miserable all day, but finally in the afternoon it stopped raining and the sun came out. I took the opportunity to take a photo of this beautiful foxglove growing wild near our house.
Three more days until we vote about whether the UK should remain in the EU or not...it is a very critical time for the country and the results will have a far reaching effect - more so if the vote is in favour of leaving the EU, as it will lead to the break up of the UK as we know it today, as Scotland will presumably have another referendum to leave the UK so that they can join the EU. Ah well, I am speculating and will probably be criticised for saying the above. Sadly there has been so much false information and incorrect figures given out that I am not surprised voters have been left confused.
