The farm today
20th June 2016:
Yesterday we got a present of a sack of Irish Potato, from our visit.
I felt that I needed to oversee the planting but they were nor really ready, nor were the potato.
The main pic shows an effort to grow Hawaiian super-sweet sweetcorn, in this cold season, in little plastic greenhouses.
The other pics show Banana, Papaya and some cabbage with seeds from Rossinver Organic Centre in County Leitrim. They are so generous to us there for which we are sincerely grateful. The cabbage will be a real winner and new man, Blair, will save some seeds. They are waiting patiently for maturity.
