up close and personal

For years the local Blue Jays have been eluding me. I recognize their call, and as soon as I locate them in a far off tree top, off they go.
Well in the last week or so, one has been visiting my feeder to steal out the little peanut pieces. It is still a bit skittish, but today I managed to snag a close shot. Maybe next time I can work on a sharper focus! But capturing the full body color makes me happy.
