Bonsall

We left the Gardener's World exhibition, and drove north, to the edge of the Peak District, where we were booked in to a self-catering cottage in Bonsall for 3 nights.

The first day there, we had a walk in the countryside around the village - unsurprisingly, very hilly!  This is a view across the valley.  Our cottage is somewhere high up on the opposite side of the valley.  We had started by walking up, and then around.  After taking this picture, we descended into the valley, looked around the village, had a cream tea, and then climbed back up to our cottage.
