Ingonish beach!

This being the real summer solstice we packed up the car with chairs, sandwiches, wine, chips and salsa, muffins and god knows what else...and headed off to Ingonish beach!   We had a fabulous lunch picnic at the top of Cape Smokey...what an amazing place for a picnic...the view is to die for!
then to the beach!  it was warm and sunny, blue skies from here to everywhere....but man was the water frigid....did a lot of reading and just pondering, and some photography!   this crow was incredible brave and came very close to where richard or terry would offer it  a chip....it was such fun!

Ice cream cones on the way home at Wreck Cove general store...isn't that a crazy name!!!   now dinner is cooking and everyone is very chilled!
