How Hot Is It?

I had every intention of shooting the moon tonight, rising over the city, but it reached 112 degrees today and a nasty haze has settled in. The moon would have to make it's way through that before it became clear. 

So....my little squirrel, with his treasured nut, is here to express his surprise with how hot it is today.

I am grateful for the things in my yard that make me smile every time I pass by them.
