Engrossed

The grandchildren arrived today and we had a super time at the play park down by the beach. Unfortunately they are only here over night.

Other than that it has been a stressful day for the hens. Chloe turned out to be a rooster who pecked chunks out of Suzie so I took him back and got a replacement. Brown and black hen - called Betty. Suzie was covered in blood and her eyes were shut most of the day but she's looking a bit perkier this evening. Poor soul had a terrible drubbing!
