Hedge Bindweed

The more I look, the more I see.

This weed is a real survivor. According to the Royal Horticultural Society's website, the climber has a root system that penetrates over five meters and it spreads by shooting off from its underground stem. If you bring a piece of it into your garden, you will be rewarded with a beautiful flowering perennial that is fast-growing and will strangle anything it can get hold of in it's fight for light.

I tried doing this in black and white but couldn't get the look I wanted. The light at 5:30 this morning was very kind and I think it looks ok in green and white.
