Pearl Harbour

A sobering day visiting the USS Arizona memorial, set astride the sunken wreckage of the battleship where many of those who died are still entombed. The sun shone and Melanie got her picture taken with a very handsome naval officer, we got to see Mighty Mo (the last battleship built as the era of aircraft carriers arrived) and took a very claustrophobic trip round the USS Bowfin but the horror of what happened here was never far away.
