A rough night as the suspected abscess kicked in with vengeance. Tried to get local dental care to no avail. Got an appointment for tomorrow at home.

Lovely breakfast and more chat and care from host.

A leisurely morning seeking pain relief then headed north to scourie.

We arrived at the church, met some good friends and headed into church. I had never been in the church before. A wood panelled church of Scotland classic.

As we waited 2 lady musicians played tunes on fiddle and accordian with bright rainbow colours on the wicker coffin.

A fine choice of minister focusing on Amanda and her life with some technology blips that added to occasion.

Over to the burial, a wonderful setting full of memories. Riding a horse along the beach with Amanda and as the kids remember collecting whelks on the far shore in the cold.

A very emotional farewell and hugs.

Eco mum and I decided to paddle along the beach on way to the wake, wonderful.

We caught up with good friends today who have been so kind to us and our children. Much chat and various remedies for my tooth abscess. We headed home promising a return in summer.

A beautiful quiet drive home with episodes of pain.
