Cajun Country

Now you see it, now you don't.  This dead tree has irritated me for years.  In a severe gale many years ago there was a tremendous crack and next morning we noticed that it was lying in the Farm Pond.  Another was blocking the drive having brought down all the power lines and the Farm House was missing a shed load of tiles and pots.

At long last the dead tree has been removed.  We no longer look out onto something resembling a bayou swamp.
