Another Waverley

I came back across the Clyde late this afternoon and although it was gray in Gourock by the time I got to Dunoon the sun was shining .

As the ferry pulled in the Waverley was on her way out , making one of her regular summer trips "doon the watter".

Walking up to my office I noticed this on the new gates to the restored pier - a rather nice cut out of the boat which made a good picture with the signs and the sea beyond.

The other gate has a cut out of one of the more recent "streakers" which I know are much missed.
