Back in the saddle

I have been so busy and jet-lagged since our return to Seattle that my camera has not once come out of it's case.  Until last night.  We were invited to meet the family of the man my daughter Amanda has been seeing for the last few years.  Andrew's parents came in from Toronto to see their sons and two adorable granddaughters, N, aged 2, pictured here, and T, aged 4, in my extras.  We had a lovely meal outdoors with the little ones running around before and after and it was so fun to be around little people again.  Their mom never missed a beat, being hostess and conversationalist, calling out to the kids, and being everywhere at every moment.  Their dad was calm, attentive and lovely. Reminded me of when my girls were little. A delightful family and we had a lovely time.
