Yawn!

Spoilt for choice for a blip today!  I have been at Woburn Safari Park on one of the Wild Arena photography days - which really means getting a bit closer to the animals than is normal.  Having said that, you can get pretty close just doing your own drive through - we were only feet away from rhino, tigers, bears, wolves etc, even giving a monkey a ride on the car roof at one point; we didn't go through the monkey enclosure again.

Overall, John and I were both very impressed with the Safari Park and thoroughly enjoyed our day.

This lion was the other side of a wire fence - he is isolated as the females give him a hard time otherwise.  I managed this shot by focussing manually which cut out the wires and waiting patiently for the yawn!  What a mouth of sharp teeth!
