Parrot or Parakeet............??

Well, our last day arrived, so we decided to revisit the restaurant we went to on our first afternoon here.
Because it was so good the first time around, i went with the Grilled Swordfish while Bev had the Pork Loin again. Both meals were equally good the second time around.
After our meal we sat chatting both enjoying the late afternoon sunshine, both wondering what the flight home would be like tomorrow.
A little way down the road were a couple of high rise buildings, hovering close by one of those blocks was some sort of raptor, so when we'd finished our drinks and paid the bill we jumped into the jeep and headed off towards the high rise buildings.
The buildings stand either side of a small dual carriageway, not a main road just a side road, only about two hundred yards long. At the end where you enter this road there are some shops, at the other end a very very Blue and welcoming Mediteranean Sea...............Stunning in the distance.
Along one side of the road there are very tall Palm trees running from one end to the other.
Parking the car under the Palm trees, we became aware of some loud screeching from overhead. Peering up we saw that there were parrots in every tree, the noise was just dreadfull..............
We walked up and down for around an hour waiting for a parrot to flutter down to the ground or move further down the trees, it just didn't happen, so this blip is the best shot i could manage.
As usual the raptor was long gone before we arrived, i was just wondering whether or not Parrot is a large part of their diet.
