I forgot he was tired too. I forgot he was actually still helping me to do the dishes after tea. I forgot he'd brought the laundry downstairs and waited for me to finish MrsH's ironing before he could watch any TV without complaining. I almost forgot to give him what he needed, not what I felt he deserved.

I remembered though. In the nick of time. He apologised, we both laughed and went for a walk by the river instead. And he had a wee shot with the camera.
