Motorway

Today I have been mostly driving back from Ripon with J's ju... treasured possessions.  We broke the journey at Hardwick Hall (just off the M1) which dates from the 1500's.  House itself wasn't open but the aim was mainly to have a leg stretch around the gardens, and lunch.

They do a cracking Welsh Rarebit.

Oh, and they had some plants for sale.  We're getting better - we walked past them twice before giving in...

Generally the run was good, though the M5 was its usual happy self.  

I wonder if the Leave campaign blame traffic on the EU too (like they have the decline in coal mining and steelworking...).  Ironically, blaming it for particularly heavy lorries would, if I recall correctly, be slightly accurate - unlike their leaflets.
