Three of your five a day.

No real progress at the house today as the inspector didn't turn up when they were supposed to. This put the floor on hold as the concrete can't be poured until the insulation has been inspected. Dad has been to the house a few times today (thanks Dad) so we knew there wasn't much to see, but as we had to take a meter reading we went anyway. While we were there we spent a bit of time wondering round the garden. Not only do we have lovely plants and apple trees, we also have raspberrys gooseberries and rubarb. We also met Peters wife and had a chat over the wall. She seems very nice - think she may be French!
Todays exciting news is we have had a quote from Steve the builder to do our plastering, and given him the ok to start when he gets back from his holiday. I'm so excited about getting this done, as once the bare brick is covered I think it will start to feel like a real home.
