Prairie dog

A walk around Macintosh Lake after we completed emissions test and re-registration of our vehicle, and before it got too hot.  The high was well over 100 deg F today.  The prairie dog town has grown since we last visited two years ago.  There are pelicans and great blue herons, but they were out of range.  So I settled on one of the prairie dogs, and a red winged blackbird perching on recently sprayed weed (well, it looked better than on a fence post) and as an extra.
I won't be posting here again for a month or so, but hope to look in from time to tome.
