The Angus Inn

By angus_inn

Another ripper of an early summer's day today - blue skies, warm temps, virtually no wind and we managed to scoff some delicious crayfish caught earlier today off the South Coast (not by us) and cooked on the barby.

This blip is of a koru that comes over the fence to our path from our neighbour's house. According to t'internet (so it just must be factually correct) Koru is the Maori name given to unfurling ponga tree-fern fronds and symbolises birth, growth, strength, and renewal. It is an integral symbol in Maori art, often seen in carving, painting and tattooing - so there.

Kia Ora for now, folks.
