Brief Encounter

A flotilla of about 40 Canada Geese have arrived on the Yare. Curiously there are lots of young geese at very different stages of development. I met this youngster out on the river bank. It seemed very curious and came close, quite unafraid. Then, top right, it heard a call : mother, bottom left, trundled off, bottom right they all slid back into the river. Lovely : I hope they stay.
