Stob Coire Sgreamhach

What a beautiful day! It was already boiling when we set off, with plans to climb up Stob Coire Sgreamhach before heading down to go wild swimming later on. The climb up was exhausting due to having lots of very fit boys with us who were walking at a really fast pace. Something that I have realised after walking for so long is that uphill never gets easier, and that I will always be slower than a lot of people that I walk with. However, my endurance has instead improved massively, so at least that's something!

We eventually got to the top and had a long rest and sunbathe before heading down the Beinn Fhada ridge. It is definitely not the easiest way to get down, and took us a lot longer than planned with a fair amount of scrambling, but I absolutely loved it! No paths, a huge ridge, and wonderful company :)

After quite a while, we finally made it down for some wild swimming. It had been such a hot day that it was really appreciated! Then it was back to Amy's to finish cooking the venison for tea (which was amazing!)

Everyone got very drunk afterwards, and it was my first night where I felt that I really wanted to drink but couldn't. I hope that my stomach doesn't stop me forever and that it's only a temporary thing!
