Sad

Every year when I was younger we went to the same place on holiday and there was always the same people. Which at the time i hated, but now I realize spending 6 weeks every summer causing trouble in a quiet French village actually made me some of my life long friends!

I found out last week that one of my friends mum's has passed away, she has had a brain tumour for a few years and was only given a couple of years as a diagnosis. She has done tremendously well to be with us all this time!

Cue a Facebook chat message about a donation and some flowers and we've all realised how many good memories we have together and have arranged a meet up for the Autumn! It's awful that such sad news brings people together but at the same time Lynn always loved "her French kids" together and would regularly supply us with cheep booze to get drunk with at her van! I'll be having a cheap glass of wine tonight and remembering a fantastically amazing lady!
