It had been a lovely sunny day until about 30 minutes before we were due to go out this evening. The skies darkened then the heavens opened. Undaunted we set out with our picnic. We arrived in the car park at Tatton Park by which time thunder and lightning had joined in. It will be over in 15 minutes predicted NM. And she was right!

We enjoyed our picnic in sunshine before the concert started. The Halle were excellent, as usual. The fireworks were spectacular. A wonderful evening.
