Sitting on a knife edge

How can that pigeon possibly be comfortable balancing on the sharp edge of the rock?

The spots are not water droplets on the camera lens, they are horrible little flies that appear when the weather is muggy and humid.  On really bad days they can very quickly cause a walk to be aborted.

Supper early tonight ..... nothing after 10pm as I have to have a fasting blood glucose test tomorrow morning.  Hope it's just a routine check but diabetes is in the family so who knows!
