A life in pictures...

Grandad's peony

This beautiful flower is blooming in my mum and dad's garden. It is a peony taken from my grandparents garden in Manchester and brought back to Guernsey. It is truly lovely and has an amazing number of petals. Nana and grandad had a beautiful garden and now it lives on in their daughter's garden too. :-)
Today I'm very quietly and inwardly celebrating a small but significant victory in a very, very long fight. I really hope it signifies a chink of light at the end of this tunnel.
