Montbretia at Dunmanus Bay
This Montretia, which adorns the hedgerows in West Cork, is not a native plant but it has certainly naturalised. It looked so lovely shining in the sun and with the blue waters behind!
Had a 'wayfarer card' meeting with freespiral, our cards are flying out at the moment, it being the height of the holiday season here, so we need reprints and have a few more new designs to add to the collection!
Lovely end to the day, friends over or supper, then Rosie and I headed out very late to hear my favourite local singer, Anna singing at the wine bar in Kilcrohane, the most westerly village on the peninsula, I'm always amazed when I'm there that we have such a cool venue in such a remote place!
