Drummer meets purple lipstick

Anika had just applied a fresh coat of purple lipstick and was lounging with a male friend beside the fountain.

Drummer Chris was being photographed by the Canon wielding Vanessa.  Vanessa & I chatted and agreed to try get Anika and Chris to "engage".  Anika came right over to sit with Chris who promptly gave her a drumstick and a quick rhythm lesson, and away they went.

When Chris's arm went around Anika, the euphoria of making new friends immediately began to set in.
