The deer with the golden horns

Our last morning in Zurich and we came across the cloister of the Fraumunster (ladies' cathedral) which was covered in frescoes illustrating the legend of the deer with the golden horns. The story is that the deer guided the king's daughters from their mountain home to the river in Zurich and they founded a monastery on that spot.

(Now at the airport waiting for our flight to Manchester, which will no doubt be wet and cold.)
